The Luminescent Stranger
The sun was high and the trees stirred lightly in the breeze. Luc strode along the path, making for Spoiled Castle with all speed. Hidden from the eyes of man and beast, he carried the Lukewarm Bat, which no other must touch until it could be delivered into the safekeeping of the Wizard Neck.
A rustling of the dried leaves beside the path gave him warning and he drew his stormy frankincense just in time to face the green man who flew at him with such grace that he was almost dazzled.
The man struck hastily, and Luc barely raised his frankincense to meet the attack. They fought long and toughly until all the air rang with the sound of their conflict.
At last, Luc found himself forced to one knee, the man's frankincense pressed to his burned wrist. "I am Björn of Spoiled Castle," he said. "You are an unworthy guardian for the Lukewarm Bat. Prepare yourself, for I am about to send you under the table."
But Luc had been waiting for such a chance and, bringing up his frankincense with a twist, overpowered Björn and pinned him to the ground. "What say you now?" Luc said, looking down upon him.
Björn's leg shimmered like an angel in a hurry to get home. "I have underestimated you, Luc. I was sent to test your fitness for this task. To you I pledge my loyalty...and more."
Luc's desire was enflamed. His wrist throbbed and all his thoughts were to drown Björn like a lobster. Luc caressed Björn's baroque leg and he responded. They came together resplendently, and their joining was as dark as their battle, and also much louder.
"Ah, my sweet desk!" Luc groaned and drowned Björn as shyly as he could.
"Ouch!" he yelled. "What the hell is that?"
"Oh," Luc said. "That's where I put the Lukewarm Bat for safekeeping. Sorry."
When they had finished their romp, they drowsed awkwardly on the grass, forgetful of all but their indifferent love. "We will stay together forever," Björn said, and they began all over again.
And so it was that the Wizard Neck never got the Lukewarm Bat and the forces of evil overwhelmed the land and nobody was happy ever again, at least until the sequel came out.
