I... I think I may just have almost finished the first draft of my thesis.


Okay, a lot of the results are preliminary, the "Conclusions and Outlook" section kind of does not exists as of yet but. Yeah. Lots and lots of buts if I'm honest, but it has reached the point where I can send it to my advisor. Which is good, because today is the deadline and there wasn't really a question about if I could make it and I'm certainly not satisfied with the how, but...

To be honest, I don't know, haven't officially signed up yet and the colloquium is in April (and my brain's in total disarray lol) and I guess I should think about that *cough*
Though I wanted to be completely done by the end of this Summer semester. Hopefully that'll work out for me

Btw, what's your thesis about? (have I asked that already at some point? Because I have a weird feeling of déjà vu somehow)

Ah, no, don't overthink it, go with the flow! (I think I signed up about a week before handing in the Master's thesis, there's no such thing as being to relaxed about stuff like that. ;))

Oh my. I've tried to develop models to simulate the deformation of polymers induced by diffusion processes within the material. I'm not sure I've actually ever told anyone online that? xD

Well, there has to be a little bit of thinking at least xD Especially with my professor, who's pretty demanding... yeah, I'm not good at choosing the path of least resistance.

That topic actually sounds cool, and I mean it seriously (also, molecules, yay!). Okay, maybe it was a false feeling of déjà vu? My gut feeling isn't very reliable anyway xD
I'll be writing about the preventive role of social relationships against recidivism in inmates and the differences between German inmates and late resettler inmates (mostly of Russian background). You might think there has to be a lot about that already (I certainly thought so), but weirdly, there isn't. Most studies focus on the effect of incarceration on social relationships, not the other way round lol
